Welcome to a New School Year
Dear Students and Families,
Welcome to a new school year on Team Everest!
We hope you are having a wonderful summer and are excited as we are for the upcoming school year. Our learning community on Team Everest consists of approximately 90 students in grades six, seven, and eight. The teachers of Team Everest are: Mr. Caswell (Science); Ms. Lemnah (Mathematics); Ms. Rehm (Humanities); Mr. Roof (Humanities); Ms. Allard and Ms. Woodward (Consulting Teachers); and Ms. Koester (Speech-Language Pathologist). We are committed to building a positive community for our students, giving students leadership opportunities, and furthering their understanding of how to be good citizens.
We hope to see you at the meet-and-greet event on August 29th. Come meet and mingle with your Team Everest teachers, and fellow classmates and their families! You’ll have the opportunity to check out our classrooms. We will also have information at the meet-and-greet about other events we are planning that will build a foundation for a successful school year.
We have high academic expectations for all students. Being prepared is an important part of being a successful student. Please see our supply list to be ready for school.
Our primary mode of team-home communication will be through this blog, where we will post all manner of information about student learning and announcements. Please bookmark this URL in your web browser, sign up to follow the blog via email, and visit often for updates throughout the school year.
