We hope you and your students have had a good start to the school year.
We sent students home with some Reading Expectations. Please read through these expectations, sign them, and send them back to school with your student if you have not done so already. Our expectation is that students read 30 minutes every night. It is so important to read regularly in order to build reading fluency, strengthen vocabulary, and become a better writer. We also think that reading can be an extremely enjoyable activity that can expand our knowledge of ourselves, others, and the world around us.
Our first Reading Log is due on Friday, September 16th.
